AA Media Group was asked by Sony Professional Services Europe to prepare the programme plan as part of the proposal by Sony to BSkyB for the Technical Fit Out programme of the new Harlequin 1 facility in Osterley. The programme plan was discussed with BSkyB in several workshops and after Sony won the contract AA Media Group was asked to provide the programme manager ensuring consistency between the proposal phase and delivery phase of the programme. The TFO programme includes several Studios, Post Production, (file-based) Content Services, Broadcast Centre and Technical Infrastructure for Sky Sports and Entertainment in an end-to-end full HD production chain. The AAMG Programme Manager responsibilities included overall management of Requirements Capture, Technical Specification and Design phases of the project. The programme team under responsibility of the Programme Manager has been expanded from 4 at the start of the programme to approximately 30 staff led by 5 senior project managers during the design phase.
