All three partners of AA Media Group played a key role in the successful delivery of the DDV project (De Digitale Voorziening – ‘The Digital Facility’) to the Dutch Public broadcasters. In fact during this project the partners learned to know each other and the shared vision of the ‘Tapeless Future’ led to the foundation of the AA Media Group after the project was completed.

Objective of DDV was the transformation of a tape-based production process to a file-based production process for the Dutch public broadcasters. On behalf of Sony Professional Services the AAMG partners were involved in this project from the contract negotiations stage with the customer and vendors up until the acceptance by the customer in 2006:
